Talent Aquisition - Engineering lateral hiring (Contract)- Bangalore

Purpose of the Role:

To drive end-to-end lateral hiring operations for IT . The individual will be part of HR Talent Acquisition team and will ensure timely closure of open positions through a structured, stakeholder-centric recruitment approach, while partnering closely with hiring managers, interviewers, and recruitment partners to deliver a consistent and high-quality hiring experience.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end lateral hiring delivery for assigned departments, from requisition intake to offer closure.
• Partner closely with hiring managers and interviewers to define role requirements, drive interview closure, and enable timely hiring decisions.
• Drive hiring through internal mobility, employee referrals, direct sourcing, and recruitment partners, ensuring quality and speed.
• Manage and govern day-to-day operations with RPO partner, including pipeline reviews, feedback, and escalations.
• Ensure a high-quality candidate experience through clear communication, timely feedback, and engagement across stages.
• Monitor requisition health, ageing, and hiring progress; proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks.
• Maintain accurate hiring data and workflow updates in Oracle Recruiting Cloud, ensuring compliance and reporting readiness.
• Adhere to recruitment policies and support audits, reviews, and data requirements as needed.

Key Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in lateral hiring for technical and engineering roles.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Good understanding of structured interviewing and hiring best practices.
• Hands on experience with ATS/HCM systems and recruitment platforms like Naukri/Linkedin.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivery and experience.
• Well versed in MS Office Suite (MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel, Teams etc.)

Education Qualification & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field
• Prior experience working with recruitment partners or RPO models is preferred.

Lateral hiring experience in a technology-led or engineering organization will be an advantage Role & responsibilities
