Talent Acquisition Specialist / IT Recruiter

Role Overview

This is a blended Talent Acquisition and IT Recruitment role. The selected candidate will manage end-to-end hiring for internal positions across the organisation and contribute to IT staffing requirements for clients. We welcome candidates with experience in internal recruitment, agency recruitment, IT staffing, or a combination of these.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Talent Acquisition

Work with hiring managers to understand headcount plans, role requirements, must-have skills and hiring timelines.

Manage end-to-end recruitment for internal positions across technical and non-technical functions, as assigned.

Create and publish job postings on Naukri and other relevant sourcing channels.

Screen resumes, conduct initial HR/recruitment discussions, coordinate interviews and collect feedback.

Manage candidate communication, interview scheduling, offer coordination, follow-ups and joining formalities in partnership with HR.

Build and maintain a pipeline of suitable candidates for recurring and upcoming vacancies.

IT Staffing / Client Recruitment

Source and screen IT candidates for client requirements across technologies such as Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, cloud, DevOps, data, ERP and other roles relevant to active requirements.

Understand job descriptions, essential skills, experience, location, notice period, compensation and client-specific criteria.

Use Naukri, LinkedIn, referrals, databases and Boolean search techniques to identify relevant candidates.

Conduct initial screening calls to assess technical fit at a high level, communication, interest, availability and compensation expectations.

Coordinate candidate submissions, interview scheduling, feedback, follow-ups, offer discussions and joining status with the relevant stakeholders.

Maintain accurate candidate records, recruitment trackers and timely status updates; protect candidate and client confidentiality.

Recruitment Operations & Reporting

Maintain daily activity and pipeline reports covering sourcing, screening, submissions, interviews, offers and closures, as applicable.

Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-submit, interview-to-selection ratio, offer-to-join ratio and fulfilment progress.

Ensure a positive candidate experience through clear communication and timely updates.

Follow ethical recruitment practices and company policies.

Preferred candidate profile

2 - 8 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, IT staffing or agency recruitment; candidates with a strong relevant track record may also be considered.

Exposure to end-to-end recruitment and/or IT recruitment. Experience in both internal hiring and IT staffing is an advantage, but not mandatory.

Hands-on sourcing experience using Naukri and other recruitment platforms.

Good understanding of resume screening, candidate engagement, interview coordination and offer/joining follow-up.

Ability to understand IT job descriptions and identify relevant technical skills and experience.

Good communication, stakeholder management, organisation and follow-up skills.

Comfortable working with hiring targets, multiple open requirements and recruitment trackers.

Preferred / Added Advantage

Experience hiring for a staffing or IT services organisation.

Experience recruiting across both technical and non-technical roles.

Knowledge of Boolean search, LinkedIn sourcing, ATS/CRM tools and recruitment MIS.

Experience supporting internal hiring while managing client-driven IT requirements.
