Talent Acquisition Manager

Role & responsibilities

End-to-End Recruitment: Manage full-cycle hiring from requisition sign-off to onboarding for junior shop-floor trades up to senior plant/corporate management.

Plant & Technical Hiring: Source and recruit specialized profiles including Metallurgical Engineers, Blast Furnace/Sponge Iron operators, Rolling Mill technicians, and EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) officers.

Blue-Collar & Workforce Planning: Coordinate bulk hiring of ITI, diploma holders, and contract/shift workers in alignment with plant capacity and production schedules.

Sourcing Channels: Utilize specialized portals, industrial job boards, campus drives for engineering colleges, and local labor/apprentice networks.

Interview & Selection Coordination: Conduct initial screenings, coordinate technical panel interviews with plant heads, and manage rollouts of employment offers.

Vendor & Consultant Management: Handle third-party manpower consultants, search firms, and contractor agencies for plant-site support.

Data & Compliance Tracking: Maintain recruitment trackers, MIS reports, SLA metrics, and compliance records as per factory and labor laws.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or Industrial Relations (IR).
• Experience: 10+ years of relevant recruitment experience, with mandatory exposure to the Iron & Steel, Manufacturing, or Heavy Engineering sector.
• Blue collar & White Collar Hiring Experience must, Headhunting
• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of plant operations, shift structures, safety standards, and technical roles in steel-making shops (SMS), blast furnaces, or rolling mills.
• Technical Skills: HR portals, plus strong MS Excel/MIS skills & MS Power-point presentation
• Competencies: High mobility for plant-site visits, strong local labor market awareness, negotiation skills, and cross-functional communication.

Salary bracket: 7-9 LPA CTC
