Talent Acquisition Lead - Semiconductor (US region)

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Semiconductor Talent Acquisition Lead to lead and drive recruitment strategies for semiconductor and electronics engineering talent across global markets. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in semiconductor hiring, stakeholder management, talent market intelligence, and team leadership. This role will be responsible for building robust talent pipelines and delivering high-quality hiring outcomes for critical positions across design, manufacturing, product development, and corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Strategy

• Develop and execute end-to-end recruiting strategies for semiconductor and related technology functions.
• Partner with business leaders to understand workforce planning and hiring requirements.
• Design proactive sourcing strategies to attract top semiconductor talent in highly competitive markets.
• Build long-term talent pipelines for niche and hard-to-fill skill sets.

Semiconductor Recruitment Leadership

• Lead recruitment efforts for positions including:
• Post Silicon Validation
• ASIC/SoC Design Engineers
• Physical Design Engineers
• Verification & Validation Engineers
• FPGA Engineers
• Embedded Software Engineers
• Process & Yield Engineers
• Equipment Engineers
• Manufacturing & Operations Professionals
• Supply Chain and Semiconductor Operations Roles
• Maintain strong market intelligence on semiconductor talent availability, compensation trends, and hiring competitors.

Team Management

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters and sourcing specialists.
• Establish recruitment KPIs and ensure achievement of hiring targets.
• Drive recruiter productivity, quality submissions, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Conduct regular reviews and performance coaching sessions.

Stakeholder & Client Management

• Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and leadership teams.
• Conduct hiring strategy discussions and resource planning meetings.
• Provide market insights, salary benchmarking, and hiring recommendations.
• Ensure exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

Sourcing & Employer Branding

• Leverage multiple sourcing channels including LinkedIn Recruiter, industry associations, semiconductor forums, referrals, and networking events.
• Build employer branding initiatives targeting semiconductor professionals.
• Develop relationships with universities, research institutions, and industry groups.

Recruitment Operations

• Monitor recruitment metrics including:
• Time-to-fill
• Quality of hire
• Offer acceptance rate
• Source effectiveness
• Diversity hiring metrics
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company hiring policies.
• Drive continuous process improvements and recruitment automation initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of Talent Acquisition experience.
• 3+ years of managing recruitment teams.
• Proven experience recruiting for semiconductor, electronics, hardware, or engineering organizations.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor lifecycle, manufacturing processes, and engineering functions.
• Experience with ATS platforms and recruitment technologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience supporting semiconductor fabs, chip design companies, or electronics manufacturing organizations.
• Global recruiting experience across US, Canada.
• Knowledge of semiconductor market trends and competitive intelligence.
