Tableau - Next Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Design and develop analytics solutions using Tableau Next.
• Build interactive dashboards, reports, scorecards, and KPI monitoring frameworks.
• Develop and maintain Semantic Models and business metrics within Tableau Next.
• Integrate Tableau Next with Salesforce Data Cloud, CRM, external databases, and enterprise applications.
• Create reusable analytics assets, dashboard templates, and data visualization components.
• Implement data governance, security, sharing, and access control mechanisms.
• Leverage Tableau Next APIs, SDKs, and extensions to develop customized analytics experiences.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytical requirements.
• Optimize dashboard performance and scalability for large datasets.
• Work closely with Data Engineers, Salesforce teams, and Architects on enterprise analytics initiatives.
• Support AI-driven analytics, data storytelling, and business intelligence solutions.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Tableau Development and Data Visualization.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau Next platform.
• Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360).
• Knowledge of Data Modeling, Semantic Layers, and KPI design.
• Proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience integrating data from cloud and on-premise sources.
• Knowledge of Tableau APIs, Extensions, and Embedding capabilities.
• Understanding of Data Governance, Role-Based Security, and Performance Optimization.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Salesforce ecosystem knowledge.
• Agentforce and AI-powered analytics exposure.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Python or scripting experience for automation and analytics enhancements.
• Experience with REST APIs and enterprise integrations.
