Tableau Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop interactive data visualizations and executive dashboards to support business decisions.
• Create and optimize Tableau data sources, extracts, and workbooks.
• Develop complex calculations, parameters, level of detail (LOD) expressions, and Tableau visualizations.
• Perform data analysis and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Design and implement data models to support reporting and analytical requirements.
• Optimize dashboard performance and improve report efficiency.
• Integrate Tableau with multiple data sources including databases, cloud platforms, APIs, and data warehouses.
• Implement row-level security and data governance standards within Tableau.
• Automate reporting processes and refresh schedules.
• Troubleshoot dashboard, data source, and performance-related issues.
• Collaborate with business users, data engineers, analysts, and leadership teams.
• Develop KPI dashboards and executive reporting solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and support materials.
• Participate in production deployments, upgrades, and ongoing support activities
