HPE Storage is seeking a Software Update Test Engineer to drive software update validation efforts across the HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000 Object Storage and File Storage portfolio . This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, availability, and quality of software updates across complex, distributed storage environments.

As a member of the Storage QA Engineering team, you will design and execute test plans that validate software updates across all storage cluster components, including storage nodes, JBOFs, Ethernet switches, and associated infrastructure services. Because the platform is built on a Kubernetes-based architecture, this role requires validating both storage software upgrades and Kubernetes version upgrades, ensuring seamless interoperability, service continuity, data integrity, and customer experience throughout the update lifecycle.

The ideal candidate combines strong systems knowledge with hands-on testing expertise and enjoys solving complex challenges spanning distributed systems, storage technologies, Linux, Kubernetes, and networking.
