Systems Requirements Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into detailed functional system requirements.
• Modify system requirements based on Problem Report (PR) outcomes from the Change Control Board (CCB).
• Develop and maintain system models using SysML and MATLAB/Simulink.
• Ensure compliance with ARP4754A and ARP4761 guidelines.
• Utilize requirement management tools like DOORS to track and manage requirements.
• Participate in Change Control Processes to manage and implement system changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate system requirements into design and development phases.
• Validate and verify system requirements against industry standards and customer expectations.
• Document and report on requirement changes and impacts on system design and performance.
• Support the development of test plans and validation criteria based on system requirements.

Qualification Criteria:

• Proven experience in translating product requirements into functional system requirements.
• Experience in modifying system requirements as per Problem Report (PR) outcomes from the Change Control Board (CCB).
• Exposure to SysML and MATLAB/Simulink or other Model-Based Design (MBD) tools.
• Familiarity with ARP4754A and ARP4761 guidelines.
• Experience using requirement management tools such as DOORS.
• Knowledge of Configuration Management (CM) and Change Control processes.
• Exposure to engine or Electronic Engine Control (EEC) system requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
