Systems Engineer - Virtualization

Job Summary

Design, deploy, and manage virtualized infrastructure and hypervisor environments for enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy virtualized infrastructure using Proxmox, KVM, or QEMU
• Manage virtual machine lifecycle and resource allocation
• Implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions
• Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization
• Handle Linux system administration and command-line operations
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for virtualization issues

Requirements

• 3-5 years of virtualization and systems administration experience
• Hands-on experience with Proxmox, KVM, or QEMU hypervisors
• Strong Linux system administration skills and command-line proficiency
• Understanding of networking, storage, and cluster management
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools
• Relevant certifications (LPI, Red Hat, or hypervisor-specific) preferred
