System Test Engineer | Autonomous Well Operations

Role & responsibilities

• Own and execute end-to-end test strategy for Autonomous Well Operations platforms.
• Perform System, Integration, Regression, and Acceptance Testing.
• Validate autonomous workflows, control systems, and field device interactions.
• Test integrations with SCADA, PLCs, DCS, Historians, and Control Networks.
• Execute failure mode, safety, reliability, and performance testing.
• Verify real-time performance, latency, determinism, and resource utilization.
• Work closely with Controls, Embedded, Software, and Data Science teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Ensure high product quality and reduced post-release defects.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in Industrial Automation, Embedded, or Control System Testing.
• Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas production operations and field instrumentation.
• Experience with pressure, flow, temperature sensors, valves, chokes, and actuators.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
