System Support Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Systems Support Engineer at our Mumbai office.

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 2 - 3 years

Shift Timings: 2 days off per week

Responsibilities

• Monitor system performance and resource utilization for all aspects of the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, applications, and databases
• Monitor system alerts and promptly investigate and resolve incidents according to defined procedures
• Configure and manage monitoring tools and platforms such as Icinga
• Escalate critical incidents to appropriate teams or stakeholders
• Analyze monitoring data and performance metrics to identify trends and areas for optimization
• Collaborate with Infrastructure and Tech Support teams to troubleshoot performance issues and recommend solutions for improvement
• Deploying antivirus software and troubleshooting, escalating to the Security specialist when needed.
• Maintain documentation relevant to procedures, processes and toolsets
• To be available 24/7 and flexible with the rotating shifts

Required skills

• Good experience with monitoring tools and platforms
• Good written and verbal English communication
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of servers, networks and cloud platforms
• Good knowledge of Windows Operating System
• Basic Knowledge of Linux Operation System
