System Support Engineer

Role & responsibilities -

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operations of multiple applications
• Handle incident management using standard tools and processes
• Troubleshoot and debug business-critical system issues
• Ensure system stability, availability, and operational efficiency
• Use logging, monitoring, and alerting tools to identify root causes of incidents
• Participate in 247 production support rotation

Preferred candidate profile -

Must-Have Skills

• Programming experience in Java or .NET, someone who can understand the code and make changes or fix issues.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities
• Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools: (Datadog/ Prometheus/ Grafana)
• Ability to deliver high-quality, well-tested bug fixes and enhancements

Good-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/Kubernetes)
• Frontend exposure (React / Angular)
