System Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Analyze customer and system-level requirements and convert them into clear, verifiable technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain system models, interfaces, architecture definitions, and functional behavior using MATLAB and Simulink.
• Manage requirements traceability, baselines, change requests, and verification links in Polarion.
• Coordinate system integration activities across embedded software, hardware, and mechanical engineering teams.
• Support system verification planning, defect resolution, technical reviews, and evidence-based project documentation.

Skills Required:

• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in systems engineering, embedded systems, or model-based engineering.
• Professional experience as a System Engineer or Systems Engineer in embedded, automotive, or mechatronics product development.
• Hands-on experience with MATLAB and Simulink for system modeling, analysis, and technical validation.
• Practical experience using Polarion for requirements management and traceability.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, interfaces, embedded systems, and requirements-based verification.

Good to Have:

• Experience with IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS or DOORS Next.

Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, preferably Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Automotive, or a related discipline.
