System Administrator

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to manage, maintain, and support our IT infrastructure, including servers, operating systems, networks, and enterprise IT services. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, experience in server administration, system monitoring, security management, and infrastructure support.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, manage, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and user access management.
• Manage Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and email administration.
• Perform server monitoring, patch management, system upgrades, and performance optimization.
• Manage VMware or Hyper-V virtualization environments.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and resolve infrastructure incidents.
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Maintain system security, antivirus/endpoint protection, and access controls.
• Manage file servers, storage, permissions, and shared resources.
• Collaborate with network, security, application, and cloud teams to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, asset inventory, and incident reports.
• Provide L2/L3 technical support and participate in root cause analysis.
• Ensure infrastructure availability, reliability, and compliance with IT policies.

Required Skills

• 5 to 8 years of experience in system administration or IT infrastructure support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Experience with VMware or Hyper-V virtualization.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux server troubleshooting.
• Experience with backup tools, patch management, and disaster recovery.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, routing, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and endpoint management tools.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle incidents, manage priorities, and work independently.
