About this role
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
- Manage and maintain Windows Server and Cloud Server environments.
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), DNS, DHCP, File Server, and Print Server.
- Create, modify, and manage user accounts, security groups, and access permissions.
- Monitor server and system performance to ensure maximum availability.
- Perform server patching, updates, and routine maintenance.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot VPN connectivity for remote users.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, server, and network-related issues.
- Perform regular backup and restore operations for servers and critical business data.
- Monitor backup jobs and verify successful completion.
- Assist in data recovery and maintain backup documentation.
- Configure and manage endpoint security solutions such as Sophos, Kaspersky, or Microsoft Defender.
- Monitor antivirus alerts and ensure systems are protected against security threats.
- Maintain IT documentation, system configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Provide Level 2 technical support and escalate complex issues when required.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and organizational standards.
- Handle day-to-day IT asset allocation, tracking, and inventory maintenance.
- Maintain records of laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Coordinate asset issuance, return, and periodic asset verification.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, warranty claims, and AMC support.
- Remote management through Team Viewer, VNC, & Remote Desktop to solve Windows and Software issue.
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of Network Printers.
- Install and upgrade hardware and software components.
- Take care of all the internal office softwares support.
- Provide technical support to Remote users.
- WAN *Handling and Resolution of all System, Active Directory (AD) & Group Policy (GPO),Windows Server & Cloud Server Administration, Networking (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP)
