System Administrator

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Azure Administrator to manage, secure, monitor, and optimize our enterprise Azure cloud environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, scalability, and performance of Azure infrastructure while supporting business-critical applications and cloud operations. This role requires expertise in Azure services, identity and access management, automation, governance, disaster recovery, and cloud security best practices. The Azure Administrator will collaborate closely with infrastructure, security, DevOps, and application teams to deliver high-availability cloud solutions while maintaining compliance, operational excellence, and cost efficiency Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and maintain Azure infrastructure, including Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, Load Balancers, and Application Gateways.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, MFA, Conditional Access, and identity management solutions.
• Implement and maintain Azure security controls, governance policies, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor cloud resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights; troubleshoot infrastructure and performance issues.
• Manage Azure Backup, Site Recovery (ASR), disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Automate cloud deployments and administration using PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM/Bicep, and Terraform.
• Optimize Azure costs through resource monitoring, budgeting, tagging, and utilization analysis.
• Support cloud migration, modernization, and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure efficient cloud operations.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and best-practice standards.

Required Qualifications Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in Azure administration and cloud operations.
• Experience managing enterprise-scale Azure environments.
• Hands-on expertise in cloud deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.

Technical Skills

• Azure Compute, Storage, Networking, and Security services.
• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, MFA, Conditional Access, and Identity Management.
• Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Backup, and Azure Site Recovery.
• PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM/Bicep, or Terraform.
• Windows/Linux administration and cloud operations.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, governance, security, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AKS, Docker, and containerized environments.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Experience with Azure Landing Zones and governance frameworks.
• Understanding of Zero Trust security principles.
• Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, and AZ-500.
