System Administrator - OpenShift Container Platform

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain Kubernetes and OpenShift container platforms.
• Manage clusters, namespaces, pods, services, workloads, and container platform operations.
• Plan and execute workload migrations from VMware environments to OpenShift.
• Diagnose platform, container runtime, networking, compute, and storage issues.
• Coordinate platform operations with infrastructure teams across hardware, Linux, storage, and networking layers.

Skills Required:

• 5 - 10 years of relevant experience in Kubernetes, container platforms, or cloud infrastructure administration.
• Hands-on administration of Kubernetes clusters and associated platform components.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, pods, services, namespaces, networking, and container runtimes.
• Experience supporting highly available container platforms and enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Experience with cluster installation, configuration, workload migration, troubleshooting, and platform operations.

Good to Have:

• OpenShift platform administration and migration experience.
• Strong Linux system administration, particularly RHEL or CentOS.
• Red Hat platform experience and knowledge of compute, storage, and networking hardware.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
