Role Summary:
Responsible for mechanical design and development of switchgear products using CREO, with a focus on enclosures, cabinets, and structural frames. Collaborate on new product development (NPD) and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.
What Youll Do:
- Design and develop switchgear enclosures, cabinets, and structural frames using PTC Creo
- Perform concept development and support NPD processes
- Coordinate with electrical panel teams and ensure adherence to IEC and UL standards
What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):
- Hands-on experience with PTC Creo (Part, Assembly, Sheet Metal, Drawing modules)
- Mechanical design experience in switchgear (MV, LV, or HV)
- Windchill PLM experience
- Good understanding of GD&T, sheet metal & fabrication processes, and welding standards
- Experience with enclosure, cabinet, or structural frame design
- Knowledge of tolerance stack-up analysis
- Understanding of corrosion protection and surface finishes
- Exposure to electrical panel coordination
- Knowledge of IEC and UL standards
