About this role
Swift Developer Intern - Bangalore (On-site/Hybrid). Duration: 6 Months.
As a Swift Developer Intern, you will work closely with our design and development teams to build high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly iOS applications. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mobile app development while contributing to real-world projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain iOS applications using Swift and Apples development frameworks
- Build intuitive and responsive user interfaces using SwiftUI and/or UIKit
- Convert UI/UX designs from tools like Figma into functional mobile applications
- Integrate RESTful APIs and manage data efficiently within the app
- Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Debug, test, and troubleshoot issues to improve app stability
- Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product teams
- Implement version control using Git and GitHub
- Participate in code reviews and agile development processes
- Stay updated with the latest iOS development trends and best practices
- Basic knowledge of Swift and iOS application development
- Familiarity with Xcode and Apples development ecosystem
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and Apple Human Interface Guidelines
- Knowledge of SwiftUI and/or UIKit
- Understanding of REST APIs, JSON parsing, and asynchronous programming
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub
- Basic understanding of MVC or MVVM architecture
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced startup environment
- Experience building iOS apps or academic projects
- Familiarity with Core Data or UserDefaults
- Knowledge of Swift Package Manager or CocoaPods
- Understanding of push notifications and app lifecycle
- Exposure to Firebase or cloud services
- Portfolio or GitHub showcasing iOS apps
- Experience with App Store or TestFlight
- Hands-on experience on real-world iOS applications
- Mentorship from experienced developers
- Exposure to modern tools and frameworks
- Strong iOS portfolio development
