As DBS continues to expand its Equity Capital Markets (ECM) franchise in India, we are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial professional to join the team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of a growing ECM platform in one of the world's most dynamic capital markets while working closely with senior leaders, corporate clients, sponsors, and investors. Responsibilities Transaction Origination & Execution Support the development and growth of DBS’ Equity Capital Markets franchise in India. Lead and execute a broad range of ECM transactions including IPOs, Follow-on Public Offers (FPOs), Qualified Institutional Placements (QIPs), Rights Issues, Block Trades, and other equity-linked offerings. Manage transaction workstreams across the entire deal lifecycle, including due diligence, documentation, regulatory filings, valuation analysis, investor marketing, book building, pricing, and execution. Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders including Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Legal, Compliance, Syndicate, Research, Sales & Trading, and Operations teams. Client Coverage & Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective corporate clients, promoters, financial sponsors, and key market participants. Support senior bankers in identifying new business opportunities and pitching tailored capital market solutions. Prepare high-quality client presentations, marketing materials, transaction updates, and strategic advisory proposals. Act as a trusted advisor to clients on equity market conditions, capital raising strategies, valuation considerations, and execution approaches. Market Intelligence & Strategic Advisory Monitor equity capital markets activity, investor sentiment, sector trends, and competitive developments. Conduct financial analysis, valuation assessments, and market benchmarking to support transaction origination and execution. Provide insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders on market opportunities and transaction timing. Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture. Oversee work quality and provide guidance on financial modelling, transaction execution, and client deliverables. Ensure effective project management and execution discipline across multiple concurrent transactions. Risk Management & Compliance Ensure all transactions are executed in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and governance standards. Maintain high standards of risk awareness, control, and professional conduct. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline; CA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent professional qualifications are preferred. 15+ years of relevant experience in Equity Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or Capital Markets Advisory. Demonstrated track record of executing equity capital market transactions, preferably including IPOs, QIPs, FPOs, block trades, and other listed equity offerings. Strong understanding of capital markets, corporate finance principles, valuation methodologies, financial statement analysis, and equity investor dynamics. Advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage complex transactions under tight timelines. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to build client relationships and work effectively with senior executives and external advisors. Highly self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, evolving business environment. Strong attention to detail, commercial acumen, and problem-solving skills
