Surveyor - Transmission Line

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare route alignment and conduct walk-over surveys for route finalization.
• Prepare detailed survey profiles and verify survey data.
• Perform pit marking and prop setting (especially for rectangular foundations).
• Ensure alignment is maintained as per approved profiles and drawings.
• Provide guidance and support to junior surveyors and supervisors.
• Maintain survey equipment with proper care and ensure timely calibration.
• Coordinate with clients, authorities, project teams, and survey agencies.
• Verify construction activities against survey requirements and technical specifications.
• Prepare daily progress reports and attend safety meetings.
• Prepare tree enumeration reports.

Preferred candidate profile

• Hands-on experience in route surveys, alignment finalization, and field survey activities.
• Ability to interpret drawings, survey profiles, and technical specifications.
• Experience in pit marking, foundation layout, and tower-related survey work.
• Good communication and coordination skills for interacting with clients and authorities.
• Ability to guide junior team members and supervise field activities.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting abilities.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel as required.
