Job Challenges:
1. To exchange the process information and process control among 3 units, with different control platforms and physical locations, for ease of decision making at CPP control room and smelter.

2. Latest state of art control system with a marginal difference to IT and plant level communication needs regular software migration, antivirus protection and back-up updation to follow latest maintenance practice.

3. To develop functional expertise for taking care of diverse and latest control systems. (3 nos of DCS and 11 nos of PLC supplied by 5 OEM)

Shift Maintenance• Supervision of Technicians job

• Corrective maintenance job in shift
  
• Preventive Maintenance as per schedule,Scheduled Calibration for U#1,2 &3.Calibration planning & execution
  
• Maintaining calibration related documents of primary
  & secondary equipment.
  
• Proper update of calibration board in due time. SWAS & UPS INSTRUMENTS• Ensure availability of All SWAS instruments of
  Unit#1, 2, 3.
  
• Ensure availability of analyzers of Boiler.
  
• House Keeping of SWAS area & control equipment
  room including UPS.

• AAQMS 1,3Ensure availability of AAQMS #1 ,3 instruments

• BOILER AND ESP OF UNIT#1,2,3• Ensure Availability Of Boiler and ESP instruments of
  Unit#2,3.
  
• Ensure housekeeping Of Boiler and ESP instruments
  of Unit#2,3.Modification/Innovation job and CAPEX• Being active participation in the modification/innovation and CAPEX job of the department.
  
• 2 nos of improvement project to achieve tangible &
  intangible benefits. Repairing Ensuring spare for field equipments with proper repairing. SAFETY• Ensuring Safety of self/colleagues/equipment and
  safe work environment.
  
• 4PI/month.
