Supply Planner

Position Purpose
Responsible for production and supply planning for Tubular and VRLA batteries, ensuring optimum inventory, timely dispatches, and product availability through effective coordination with manufacturing plants and supply chain stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare production plans for Tubular and VRLA batteries in line with demand requirements and business priorities.
• Develop dispatch plans for Tubular batteries and manage pan-India dry battery shifting requirements.
• Plan 12V Tubular inventory and coordinate charging plans to ensure timely product availability.
• Create Stock Transfer Orders (STOs) and generate Purchase Information Records (PIRs) as required.
• Prepare annual production budgets for 12V Tubular and VRLA batteries.
• Generate planning MIS, analyze supply and inventory data, and identify gaps for corrective action.
• Coordinate with manufacturing plants at Haldia, Shamnagar, Hosur, Bawal, Taloja and Chinchwad to ensure plan adherence and uninterrupted supply.
