Supply Chain Manager

Experience: 10+ Years | Location: Pune/Chakan

Role Purpose:
Lead end-to-end supply chain and procurement activities for APC projects, ensuring timely material availability, vendor performance, project execution and dispatch to support revenue and customer commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project procurement and supply chain from material requirement to dispatch.
• Ensure timely procurement of critical and long-lead items as per project schedules.
• Develop, evaluate and manage vendors; develop alternate/reliable sources for critical items.
• Negotiate price, payment terms, delivery schedules and commercial conditions.
• Monitor vendor manufacturing, quality, delivery and payment issues.
• Ensure zero avoidable supply-chain-related dispatch delays.
• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Production, Quality, Commercial, Finance, Stores and Logistics.
• Support timely project invoicing and revenue realisation through material readiness and dispatch.
• Prepare weekly procurement/project supply-chain MIS and highlight critical risks.
• Resolve technical/vendor issues within defined TAT and ensure corrective action closure.
• Lead and guide the Supply Chain/Procurement team and ensure proper work distribution.

Candidate Profile:

• 10+ years in Supply Chain/Procurement/Purchase, preferably in EPC, Air Pollution Control, Heavy Engineering, Steel, Cement, Power or similar industries.
• Strong experience in project procurement, vendor development, fabrication/subcontracting and commercial negotiations.
• Good ERP/MS Excel and team-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, vendors and critical delivery timelines.
