Supply Chain Manager - E-Commerce & Integrated Supply Chain

Role Overview

Responsible for managing and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations across e-commerce, D2C, marketplace and express delivery channels, covering demand planning, inventory management, order fulfillment, logistics, warehouse operations, 3PL management, reverse logistics and supply chain improvement initiatives. Manage Pan-India supply chain operations with a strong focus on service level, TAT, OTIF, inventory availability, logistics cost optimization and customer experience.

1. Demand Planning & Inventory Management

• Manage demand planning and replenishment for high-priority Express SKUs contributing significantly to business volume.
• Develop SKU-level inventory norms based on historical sales, demand trends, lead time and inventory coverage requirements.
• Implement dynamic replenishment mechanisms using daily demand, historical sales, inventory position and lead-time parameters.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels while balancing availability, working capital and stock-out risk.
• Conduct ABC analysis and SKU segmentation to prioritize high-value/high-volume SKUs.
• Monitor inventory ageing and support liquidation strategies for slow-moving and excess inventory.

2. E-Commerce & Order Fulfillment

• Manage end-to-end fulfillment for D2C, Amazon, Flipkart, E-trade and quick-commerce channels.
• Drive order fulfillment performance through continuous monitoring of Fill Rate, OTIF, TAT and On-Time Handover.
• Manage Express/MTO order fulfillment and ensure adherence to committed customer delivery timelines.
• Analyze order-to-dispatch performance and identify bottlenecks across manufacturing units, warehouses and logistics partners.
• Drive improvement in order fulfillment through process redesign, automation and operational controls.

3. Logistics & 3PL Management

• Manage Pan-India logistics operations through multiple 3PL and transportation partners.
• Monitor logistics performance across delivery TAT, pickup adherence, shipment delays, NDR, RTO and serviceability.
• Evaluate and optimize transportation models based on cost, TAT and service level.
• Develop alternate logistics models to improve delivery speed and reduce dependency on traditional transportation networks.
• Coordinate with logistics partners for operational escalations and corrective action plans.

4. Self-Ship & Last-Mile Optimization

• Lead self-shipment initiatives for selected e-commerce orders to improve delivery TAT and logistics economics.
• Drive pilots for Next-Day Delivery through alternate last-mile logistics models.
• Evaluate delivery models based on geography, SKU, customer promise and order economics.
• Identify opportunities to reduce logistics cost while maintaining or improving customer service levels.

5. Supply Chain TAT Improvement

• Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce overall order fulfillment TAT.
• Track and improve On-Time Handover within 48 hours for MTO orders.
• Analyze unit-wise dispatch performance and develop corrective action plans for under performing locations.
• Work closely with manufacturing, warehouse, IT, customer service and logistics teams to eliminate process bottlenecks.

6. Warehouse & Network Operations

• Coordinate supply chain operations across facilities/warehouses.
• Optimize inventory allocation between manufacturing units, warehouses and customer demand locations.
• Support network planning and inventory positioning based on demand patterns and service requirements.
• Ensure appropriate stock availability at strategic locations to support Express and high-priority orders.
• Drive warehouse productivity and process improvements through data-driven analysis.

7. Data Analytics & Supply Chain Visibility

• Develop and monitor supply chain dashboards covering TAT, OTIF, Fill Rate, On-Time Handover, Inventory Coverage, Stock Availability, Dispatch Performance and Logistics Performance.
• Use Advanced Excel, Power BI and operational dashboards for performance analysis and decision-making.
• Conduct root-cause analysis using SKU-, unit-, channel- and geography-level data.
• Develop automated reporting and monitoring mechanisms to improve supply chain visibility.

8. Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, E-commerce, IT, Finance, Customer Service, Warehousing and Logistics teams.
• Coordinate with external 3PL and technology partners to resolve operational issues.
• Lead cross-functional projects focused on improving cost, service, speed and inventory efficiency.
• Present operational performance, key gaps and improvement initiatives to senior management.
