Supply Chain Management Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end supply chain for automation projects (PLC, SCADA, panels, robotics, etc.)
• Develop and execute procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery
• Handle vendor sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and performance management
• Ensure timely availability of critical automation components (electrical, instrumentation, mechanical)
• Oversee inventory planning, stock optimization, and warehouse management
• Coordinate with design, project, and production teams for material planning
• Manage logistics, dispatch, and transportation (domestic & international)
• Handle import-export activities, including documentation, customs clearance, and compliance
• Monitor and improve supply chain KPIs (lead time, cost savings, inventory turnover)
• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations

Key Requirements:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Logistics / MBA preferred
• Experience: 15-20 years in supply chain/procurement, preferably in automation, electrical, or manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of automation components sourcing (PLC, drives, sensors, panels, etc.)
• Experience in import-export procedures and global sourcing
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP B1)
• Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills
