Supply Chain Management Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchasing and procurement activities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Source wires, cables, connectors, terminals, and other electrical components.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Prepare and monitor purchase orders and ensure timely material delivery.
• Coordinate with production, planning, stores, quality, and finance teams.
• Monitor inventory levels and avoid material shortages or excess stock.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency.
• Evaluate supplier performance, quality, and delivery reliability.
• Manage procurement budgets, MIS reports, and purchase documentation.
• Lead the purchase team and support strategic sourcing initiatives, depending on the position level.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience in wire harness manufacturing, automotive components, electrical and electronics manufacturing, or a related manufacturing industry is preferred. Knowledge of wires, cables, connectors, terminals, and electrical components will be an advantage.
