Supply Chain Head - Grocery Retail, Food Retail, FMCG, Supermarkets

The Organic World is looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Supply Chain to lead and manage end-to-end supply chain operations across retail stores, eCommerce fulfillment, warehouses, distributors, and franchise networks. The role will be responsible for driving operational excellence, inventory optimization, logistics efficiency, demand planning, and supplier management while supporting the company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
• Lead and mentor teams across procurement, warehousing, logistics, and fulfillment operations.
• Drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and service level improvements.

Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations

• Manage end-to-end warehouse and fulfillment center operations.
• Ensure timely order processing, inventory accuracy, and efficient product dispatch.
• Optimize workflows to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.
• Coordinate closely with eCommerce and store operations teams for seamless execution.

Inventory Management & Demand Planning

• Drive demand forecasting and inventory planning across stores, warehouses, and fulfillment centers.
• Maintain optimum stock levels to avoid stock-outs and excess inventory.
• Monitor inventory turnover, wastage, shrinkage, and product availability.

Vendor & Procurement Management

• Build strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, contracts, and service-level agreements.
• Ensure timely procurement while maintaining quality and cost targets.

Distribution & Logistics

• Manage product distribution to stores, distributors, and franchise partners.
• Optimize transportation routes, fleet utilization, and logistics costs.
• Ensure timely replenishment and high service levels across all channels.

Technology & Process Improvement

• Leverage ERP, WMS, and supply chain systems for operational efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs such as inventory turnover, fill rate, lead time, order accuracy, and supply chain costs.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify supply chain risks and implement contingency plans.
• Drive best practices in inventory control, warehouse management, and logistics operations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA or Supply Chain Certification preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.
• Strong experience in Grocery Retail, FMCG, Food Retail, Supermarkets, or Retail Chains.
• Proven expertise in warehouse operations, fulfillment centers, inventory planning, procurement, logistics, and distribution management.
• Experience handling multi-channel operations including retail stores, eCommerce, distributors, and franchise networks.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
