About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Solution Consultant with strong expertise in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP/Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and Inventory Optimization to enterprise supply chain transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing and configuring the o9 Solutions platform, with a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning processes across CPG, Retail, Consumer Goods, and Manufacturing industries.

The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand planning challenges, design scalable o9 solutions, hold solutioning workshops, and support successful implementation and adoption of o9-based planning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Demand Planning & Forecasting

• Design and implementation of Demand Planning solutions using o9 Platform.
• Configure and optimize o9 demand planning processes, workflows, measures, and planning views.
• Design statistical and AI/ML-driven forecasting solutions aligned with customer demand patterns and market trends.
• Develop demand segmentation strategies including lifecycle, channel, product, and customer segmentation.
• Define and monitor forecast accuracy KPIs such as MAPE, WMAPE, Forecast Bias, and Forecast Value Add (FVA).
• Implement demand sensing and advanced forecasting capabilities within the o9 platform.
• Develop and support what-if and scenario-based demand planning.

Supply Planning & Inventory Optimization

• Design and implement constrained and unconstrained supply planning solutions in o9 Platform.
• Configure planning processes considering capacity, material availability, lead times, production constraints, and sourcing rules.
• Design MPS, MRP, DRP, replenishment, deployment, and distribution planning processes.
• Develop inventory optimization strategies covering safety stock, reorder points, min/max policies, and service-level-based inventory planning.
• Support Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimization (MEIO) initiatives using o9 capabilities.
• Design supply and inventory scenarios to evaluate constraints, risks, and alternative planning strategies.
• Develop exception-based planning and alerts to improve planner productivity and decision-making.

S&OP / Integrated Business Planning

Design and implementation of S&OP / IBP processes on the o9 platform.

• Assess existing planning processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and digital transformation.
• Integrate demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and financial planning into an integrated planning framework.
• Define planning calendars, governance structures, review cadences, workflows, and escalation processes.

• Enable scenario planning and what-if analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment among Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Business teams.

Architecture & Consulting

Design and architecture for enterprise supply chain planning implementations.

• Define o9 planning models, hierarchies, measures, dimensions, workflows, business rules, and user roles.
• Define master data requirements and planning data structures required for implementation.
• Design integration touchpoints between o9 and ERP, planning, warehouse, procurement, manufacturing, and other enterprise systems.

Required Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP/IBP, or Inventory Optimization.
• Strong hands-on experience with o9 platform implementation, configuration, and solution design.
• Experience working on end-to-end o9 supply chain planning implementations.

• Experience in client-facing consulting, stakeholder management, and solution workshops.
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience with o9 Digital Brain / o9 Solutions planning platform.
• Experience with o9 implementation, solution architecture, configuration, and integration.
• Experience with AI/ML-based demand sensing and advanced forecasting.
• Exposure to MEIO and advanced inventory optimization.

• Knowledge of SQL and exposure to Python/R for supply chain analytics and forecasting.
