Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsible for developing and managing Tier II suppliers for wiring harness components, including plastic troughs, channels, grommets, clips, connectors, and rubber parts.

Evaluate supplier capabilities through process audits and technical assessments, ensure compliance with IATF 16949, APQP, and PPAP requirements, and drive continuous improvements in quality, cost, delivery, and manufacturing performance.

Lead supplier corrective actions using 8D and root cause analysis, monitor supplier KPIs (PPM, on-time delivery, audit scores, and capacity), and work closely with Engineering, Purchasing, and Program Management to support successful product launches and sustainable supplier performance.
