Job Overview:

The position of Assistant Manager / Sr.Engineer Supplier Quality Assurance

• Responsible for assessing the quality of supplier processes and their implementation for both existing and new suppliers
• Responsible for addressing supplier quality issues and resolving them through effective root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Responsible for closely coordinating and communicating with crossfunctional teams such as R&D, Procurement, and Manufacturing.
• Work closely with suppliers and conduct supplier audits, including ISO, process, product, and system audits.

Main Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and approve new suppliers through audits and qualification assessment processes.
• Responsible for reviewing and approving PPAP, PFMEA, and PSW for mass production runs at supplier facilities.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers to identify and resolve quality issues through effective root cause analysis tools, including 8D, 5 Whys and Fishbone analysis.
• Support incoming inspection activities and work with suppliers to resolve nonconformance issues.
• Possess strong knowledge of industry standards and internal specifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and IATF 16949.
• Responsible for monitoring supplier performance through KPIs and driving continuous improvement initiatives for sustained quality improvement
• Participate in supplier senior management quality review meetings to support escalation, decisionmaking, and continuous improvement initiatives as needed
• Responsible for supporting new product launches in accordance with the APQP framework and quality requirements

Education:

BE / B.Tech degree (Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical) is preferred

Work Environment:

This position will be based in a manufacturing facility, and the candidate should be prepared to work in an industrial environment with regular exposure to electrical systems and automated machinery.
