Job Description: Subject Matter Expert (SME) Image Data & Writing
About the Project
The project involves collecting images from publicly accessible sources across six
domains, including patent drawings, medical and satellite imagery. Each image must have
relevant metadata and a clear, accurate written description to support AI training.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and review relevant image sources for the assigned domain.
Collect and assess image samples, metadata, captions, and related information.
Write clear and accurate descriptions for images.
Review AI-generated descriptions and identify errors, repetitive content, or generic
wording.

Rewrite or create descriptions from scratch wherever required to ensure quality and
accuracy.
Check descriptions for grammar, clarity, completeness, and domain-specic
accuracy.

Estimate data availability and recommend suitable sources for the project.
Support the development of writing guidelines and quality standards.
Flag potential licensing or source-access issues to the concerned team.

Excellent written English and strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Strong attention to detail and quality-checking skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience in content writing, technical writing, scientic writing, annotation, or
quality control is preferred.

Ideal Candidate: Someone who can independently review image descriptions,
identify weak or repetitive AI-generated content, and rewrite it into clear, accurate,
and client-ready descriptions.
