Subject Matter Expert - Ethical & Responsible AI in Journalism

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the development of a self-paced certification programme on Ethical Responsible AI for Journalism and Media Professionals.

Responsibilities

• Develop the curriculum framework with relevant sources and references
• Review curriculum developed by the Learning Development team
• Provide SME inputs on course content, videos, AI learning activities, resources, and assessments
• Help ensure the content is practical, accurate, and relevant to journalism and media

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in established editorial or media organizations
• Current or recent experience in a managerial/editorial leadership role
• Practical experience with AI in journalism or newsroom environments
• Understanding of responsible AI topics including ethics, verification, attribution, and misinformation
• Comfortable reviewing structured learning content and assessments
