Role Overview
An Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with an MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology is responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare to women, including antenatal care, management of labour and delivery, postnatal care, diagnosis and treatment of gynaecological disorders, and reproductive health services. The role involves ensuring maternal and fetal well being, managing obstetric and gynaecological emergencies, performing surgical procedures within the practitioners competence, and promoting womens health through counselling and preventive care.
