    About this role

    Job Summary

Job Title: Student Success Advisor - Study Abroad Admissions Sales

    Location: Noida

Department: Consultant Finder | GyanDhan Marketplace

    Experience Required: 1-3 years

    Employment Type: Full-time

We are looking for a Student Success Advisor who combines strong study abroad admissions knowledge with a sales-oriented mindset. This person will counsel students, understand their requirements, recommend the right path forward, and convert interested students into GyanDhan s admissions process or with our consultant partners.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys counselling students but is equally comfortable with sales targets, follow-ups, objection handling, and revenue conversion.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Student Counselling Profile Assessment - Speak with students planning to study abroad and understand their academic background, career goals, preferred destination, course, intake, budget, and funding requirements; evaluate the students profile at a basic level and guide them on realistic study abroad options; understand basic admission eligibility across major destinations such as the UK, USA, Australia, Germany, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, and Europe; guide students on common admission requirements including academics, English language tests, work experience, backlogs, application documentation, intakes, and timelines; set realistic expectations with students regarding university options and the overall admissions process.
    • Admissions Process Knowledge - The advisor should have a working understanding of the study abroad application journey, including: student profiling and eligibility assessment; university and course shortlisting; application documentation; SOP/LOR and academic document requirements; application submission; offer letters and conditional offers; deposits and tuition fee payments; English language requirements; education loan and financial documentation basics; visa process overview; pre-departure and enrolment stages; the role does not require the advisor to personally process every application, but they should understand the process well enough to explain it confidently to students and guide them to the right next step.
    • Sales Student Conversion - Convert inbound and qualified student leads into active admissions customers; explain the value of GyanDhan s admissions support and consultant network clearly and confidently; encourage students to enrol with the recommended consultant partner for their admission journey; pitch applicable paid admissions or service packages and convince students to make the required service payment/token wherever applicable; understand student objections around pricing, free consultancy options, trust, university choices, and timelines, and handle them effectively; create urgency and guide students towards clear next steps rather than allowing leads to remain indefinitely undecided; regularly follow up with interested students through calls, WhatsApp, email, and CRM; work towards defined targets for counselling, qualified students, payments, partner enrolments, applications, and conversions.
    • Consultant Partner Coordination - Match students with suitable GyanDhan consultant partners based on destination, course, student profile, service requirement, and partner expertise; introduce students to the selected consultant and ensure a smooth handover; track whether counselling has happened and whether the student is progressing towards shortlisting, documentation, application, and payment; collect student feedback on the consultant experience and intervene wherever required; coordinate with internal teams and consultant partners to resolve issues that may affect student conversion.
    • Student Journey Ownership - Take ownership of the student relationship from the first counselling conversation until successful enrolment at the desired university; ensure students understand their next steps at every stage; identify students who are highly interested, undecided, unresponsive, or unlikely to proceed and manage follow-ups accordingly; proactively identify drop-off risks and attempt to re-engage students; escalate application, consultant, service, or student experience issues wherever necessary.
    • CRM Pipeline Management - Maintain accurate and timely updates for every lead in the CRM; record counselling notes, student preferences, eligibility, objections, follow-up dates, and outcomes; maintain a healthy pipeline and prioritise leads based on intent and probability of conversion; track performance across important metrics such as lead-to-counselling conversion, counselling-to-enrolment conversion, paid service conversion, partner onboarding, application initiation, student follow-up and responsiveness.
