Structural Site Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure Safety of equipment and personnel working at site by implementing JSW safety standards.
• Site Execution of Mechanical works like Fabrication & Erection of Piping, Structural.
• Co-ordinate with Project teams and other agencies for effective delivery of services Ensuring quality parameters, NDT
• Identify the fabricated steel frame components for the correct sequence of erection for the structural steelwork.
• Knowledge about erection tools & tackles; hydraulic equipment for erection
• Should plan and manage resources for day to day executions.
• Meeting project progress as per approved plan
• To ensure that the erection is done as per the approved drawings
• Interpret engineering drawing & make method Statements for all critical erection works
• Educational Qualification
• BE/ B Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• Technical Competencies
• Exposure to safety requirements of job hazard, contract management
• Good Exposure in all welding Technologies like SMAW (ARC) GTAW (TIG), MIG & SAW, and Soldering.
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Good Understanding of drawings
• Knowledge on Auto CAD
• Understanding of CSM and PSM safety standards
• MS Office
• Behavioral Competencies
• Must have 10+ years site experience in execution of Fabrication, erection, Structural, roof sheeting, testing etc.
