Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Civil & Structural Engineer to join our engineering consultancy team for the delivery of Data Centre and Associated Ancillary Building Projects. The role involves structural analysis, design, engineering calculations, multidisciplinary coordination, and project delivery support during basic and detailed engineering phases. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in data center structural design, dynamic analysis, foundation engineering, and relevant international design standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Structural Analysis and Design of Data Centre buildings and associated ancillary facilities.
• Develop structural solutions during Basic Engineering and Detailed Engineering phases.
• Understand and interpret Data Centre layouts, including various operational zones, loading requirements, and building configurations.
• Coordinate effectively with Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) disciplines.
• Carry out static and dynamic structural analysis as per applicable Singapore and Indian Codes & Standards.
• Perform Finite Element Modelling (FEM) and dynamic analysis for structures and machine foundations.
• Design various foundation systems including:
• Pile Foundations
• Raft Foundations
• Shallow Foundations
• Eccentric Foundations
• Prepare engineering calculations, structural design reports, and technical documentation.
• Review structural drawings, reinforcement detailing, and design deliverables.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers and designers for successful project execution.
• Ensure all designs comply with project requirements, applicable codes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Participate in technical reviews, interdisciplinary meetings, and client discussions when required.

Educational Qualification

• ME / M.Tech in Structural Engineering (Mandatory)
• Strong academic background with sound understanding of structural engineering principles.
