Position Name:Structural Engineer

Role Summary:
Responsible for civil and structural engineering design, interdisciplinary coordination, and technical leadership for EPC projects in Oil & Gas, Refinery, and Petrochemical sectors. Ensures compliance with standards, quality, and project requirements.
What Youll Do:
- Lead and execute civil and structural engineering design for RCC foundations and structural steel (pipe racks, platforms, buildings).
- Prepare and review design calculations, technical specifications, and engineering deliverables.
- Review and approve GA drawings, foundation drawings, steel layouts, and construction details.
- Coordinate with Process, Piping, Mechanical, E&I, and Geotechnical disciplines.
- Interface with licensors, PMC, contractors, and vendors.
- Support 3D model reviews and design review meetings.
- Ensure compliance with international and project standards (AISC, ACI, API, IS, BS, Eurocode).
- Participate in HAZID / HAZOP, constructability, and safety reviews.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers.
- Provide engineering support during fabrication, construction, and commissioning.
- Review and respond to RFIs, site queries, and change requests.
What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):
- RCC foundation and structural steel design (pipe racks, platforms).
- Proficiency in STAAD, ETABS, SAFE (structural analysis).
- Experience in Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical EPC projects.
- GA/Foundation drawing review and design calculations.
- Interdisciplinary coordination and 3D model review (SP3D / Tekla / Navisworks).
- Knowledge of international and project standards (AISC, ACI, API, IS, BS, Eurocode).
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
Good to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):
- Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office for documentation and reports.
- Exposure to Power, Material Handling & Mining, FMCG industries.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
Master s Degree (M.Tech / MS)
