About this role
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented *Structural Engineer* to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for structural design, analysis, drawings, technical coordination, and ensuring that industrial and commercial structures are designed in accordance with applicable standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and review *structural designs and engineering calculations* for industrial, warehouse, commercial, and other building projects.
* Perform structural analysis and design for *RCC, steel, and other structural systems*.
* Prepare and review structural drawings, layouts, detailing, and design documentation.
* Coordinate with *architects, civil engineers, MEP consultants, contractors, and project teams*.
* Review structural drawings and technical submissions from consultants and contractors.
* Conduct site visits to verify structural work and ensure execution is as per approved drawings and specifications.
* Identify structural issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
* Ensure designs comply with applicable *IS Codes, NBC, and relevant structural design standards*.
* Assist in preparation of *BOQ, material specifications, technical reports, and project documentation*.
* Coordinate with the project team during construction and provide technical clarification wherever required.
* Monitor structural quality and ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications.
* Support value engineering and optimization of structural designs while maintaining safety and performance.
* Maintain proper records of structural calculations, drawings, revisions, and technical approvals.
Required Skills
* Strong knowledge of
*structural analysis and design principles.
* Good understanding of *RCC and structural steel design.
* Knowledge of relevant *Indian Standards (IS Codes)* and structural design practices.
* Proficiency in *AutoCAD* is required.
* Knowledge of structural design software such as *STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, or similar tools* will be preferred.
* Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and civil drawings.
* Good analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
* Good communication and coordination skills.
* Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
