Position: Design Engineer Structural Services

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) 
• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering (preferred) 

Experience

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in structural design and engineering 

Job Description / Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural design, analysis, and calculations for assigned projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards. 
• Execute detailed engineering tasks including load calculations, member design, and preparation of design documentation. 
• Review and verify structural drawings to ensure alignment with design intent and engineering standards. 
• Coordinate with drafting teams for preparation and checking of drawings and models. 
• Utilize structural design software such as STAAD Pro and other relevant tools for analysis and design. 
• Work with drafting and coordination software including AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks. 
• Develop working knowledge of applicable structural codes, standards, and industry guidelines (e.g., IS Codes, international standards where applicable). 
• Assist in the design and detailing of secondary steel structures (experience in this area will be an advantage). 
• Support senior engineers in project execution, technical discussions, and problem-solving. 
• Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks while maintaining quality and efficiency. 
• Participate in project coordination meetings and effectively communicate technical inputs. 

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in STAAD Pro (mandatory); knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks
