Key Responsibilities

• Interpret project scope, design basis, and critical line lists from project documentation.
• Develop and validate CAESAR-II stress models for piping and duct systems, including thermal expansion loops, supports, and expansion joints.
• Ensure compliance with ASME B31.3/B31.1, EN13480, PED, and project-specific standards.
• Review process data, vendor drawings, nozzle interfaces, and isometrics for stress-critical requirements.
• Prepare and review stress mark-ups, support layouts, and expansion joint proposals; coordinate with layout and piping teams.
• Analyze and resolve field issues (nozzle loads, vibration, sagging); perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and finalize stress analysis reports and BOMs for HP/TS/IBR piping.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in piping stress analysis for process plants (Refinery, BioDiesel, Oleochemicals, etc.).
• Proficient in CAESAR-II; experience with NozzlePRO, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and Excel automation is a plus.
• Strong understanding of piping codes (ASME B31.3/B31.1, EN13480), PED, and relevant standards.
• Experience in interpreting process data, vendor BOIs, and vessel nozzle details.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis for field issues and drive corrective actions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
