As Ashoka Buildcon continues to expand its international footprint and build new growth verticals, we are looking for an accomplished leader to join the COOs Office and play a pivotal role in translating strategy into execution.

This is not a conventional Corporate Strategy role.

We are looking for a strong Strategy + Execution leader who can act as the COO’s strategic execution partner—providing complete visibility across international projects, financial performance, resource deployment, business growth and emerging risks, while driving timely interventions across the organisation.

The Mandate

The incumbent will work closely with the COO to:

• Drive a COO Project Control Tower for international and strategic projects.
• Monitor physical & financial progress, timelines, cost-to-complete, margins, cash flow, billing, collections and working capital.
• Identify execution risks and potential delays early and drive corrective/recovery actions with Project and Functional Heads.
• Develop and review project financial models, business cases, scenario analysis and investment economics.
• Lead integrated manpower, equipment, material and financial resource planning across projects.
• Provide the COO with early-warning dashboards, strategic insights and clearly identified intervention areas.
• Partner with Business Development in evaluating international opportunities, markets, bids and strategic partnerships/JVs.
• Support identification, evaluation and creation of new infrastructure business verticals.
• Drive critical cross-functional strategic initiatives from concept to implementation.
• Prepare high-quality COO/Management/Board decision papers and performance reviews.

What We Are Looking For

An accomplished professional with approximately 10–15+ years of experience in large EPC / Infrastructure / Construction / Energy / Transportation businesses, with strong exposure to:

Large Project Execution | International Operations | Project Controls | Financial & Commercial Management | Resource Planning | Strategy | Business Development

International project exposure, particularly in Africa and other emerging markets, would be highly desirable.

Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech or equivalent engineering qualification; MBA/PGDM in Strategy, Finance or Operations would be an advantage.
