Strategic Sourcing Consultant

NIIT is looking for Strategic Consultant-Sourcing for Gurgaon location

Experience: 6 years to 10 years

Shift: Rotational Shifts (Including Night shifts)

Working from Gurgaon office-sector 34 (5 days)

Learning Needs Assessment & Consulting

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, performance gaps, and capability development needs
• Conduct and facilitate Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) activities to identify learning requirements
• Translate business challenges into learning requirements and measurable learning outcomes
• Provide consultative guidance on learning strategies, modalities, and learning architecture

Learning Solution Design & Recommendation

• Assess and recommend the most appropriate learning approach, including:
• Build (custom development)
• Buy (commercial off-the-shelf solutions)
• Borrow (existing internal or external content/assets)
• Evaluate alternative learning interventions and recommend the most effective, scalable, and cost-efficient solution.
• Define high-level solution specifications, success criteria, and learning requirements for sourcing activities.
• Ensure proposed solutions align with adult learning principles, instructional design best practices, and organizational standards.

Sourcing & Vendor Evaluation Support

• Partner closely with the Sourcing Lead during procurement and vendor selection activities
• Develop learning solution requirements and technical specifications for RFPs, RFIs, and vendor engagements
• Participate in the technical and functional evaluation of third-party vendor proposals
• Assess vendor learning approaches, methodologies, content strategies, and delivery models against business requirements
• Provide recommendations to support vendor selection and contracting decisions

Subject Matter Expertise

• Act as a subject matter expert on learning design, digital learning, blended learning, simulations, and performance support
• Advise stakeholders on learning trends, industry best practices, and innovative learning approaches
• Ensure learning solutions effectively address desired business outcomes and learner performance objectives
• Support governance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of learning solutions.
