Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Strategic Consultant Sourcing with strong expertise in Learning & Development (L&D), Learning Needs Assessment, learning solution design, procurement, and vendor evaluation. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and sourcing teams to identify learning requirements, recommend effective learning solutions, manage RFP/RFI/RFQ/RFX activities, and support vendor selection based on business objectives, quality, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Learning Needs Assessment & Consulting

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, performance gaps, and capability development requirements.
• Conduct Learning Needs Assessments (LNA) and Learning Needs Analysis to identify learning requirements.
• Translate business challenges into learning objectives, solution requirements, and measurable outcomes.
• Provide consultative recommendations on learning strategies, delivery modalities, and learning architecture.

2. Learning Solution Design & Recommendation

• Evaluate and recommend appropriate learning solutions using Build, Buy, or Borrow approaches.
• Assess alternative learning interventions and recommend scalable, cost-effective solutions.
• Define solution specifications, success criteria, and learning requirements for sourcing activities.
• Ensure solutions align with adult learning principles, instructional design practices, and organizational standards.

3. Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

• Collaborate with sourcing and procurement teams throughout vendor selection and evaluation.
• Develop learning requirements and technical specifications for RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and other RFX processes.
• Review and evaluate vendor proposals, quotations, pricing, and solution approaches.
• Support vendor assessments, commercial comparisons, and recommendations for vendor selection and contracting.
• Prepare and review client proposals, sourcing documentation, and procurement-related deliverables.

4. Learning & Development Subject Matter Expertise

• Provide subject matter expertise in learning design, digital learning, blended learning, simulations, and performance support.
• Advise stakeholders on industry trends, learning technologies, and innovative learning methodologies.
• Ensure proposed solutions address business objectives and learner performance requirements.
• Support governance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of learning solutions.

5. Project & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with business stakeholders, sourcing leads, vendors, and internal teams to ensure alignment on requirements.
• Manage multiple activities, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
• Support decision-making through structured assessments, solution comparisons, and recommendations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in project management, strategic sourcing, procurement, learning consulting, or L&D solution management.
• Experience in assessing learning requirements and recommending suitable learning solutions.
• Hands-on exposure to RFP/RFI/RFQ processes, vendor proposals, quotations, and commercial evaluations.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills with the ability to translate business needs into actionable solutions.
• Ability to work from the office in Gurgaon and support any assigned shift.
