We are now looking for a new Category Management Direct Senior Analyst - Sourcing - Localization and DVT to join our dynamic team in Thane India!

POSITION SUMMARY

The Category Manager Direct Senior Analyst - Sourcing - Localization and DVT at Vertiv India leads Raw Material Localization of Thermal Management Commodities with specializing in Mechanical parts . The role focuses on Local supply chain establishment , including material availability, inventory turnover, lead time reduction, and supplier development to enhance financial performance and customer delivery. Additionally, the candidate supports plants with material shortages. Reporting to the Manager - Strategic Sourcing. Electronics , this position is key to Vertiv India s overall success.

Roles & Responsibilities

Execution of Localization of Mechanical & Electrical parts for Thermal Business with following sub-tasks -

• Collect Material shortage data based on Plant MRP, co-ordination with Buyers for critical shortages.
• Local Suppliers and Manufacturers identification, Datasheets comparison against original Imported parts.
• Local samples development, co-ordination with Supplier to support DVT testing, Supply Chain establishment and component cost optimization.
• Internal CFT collaboration with Engineering / Product / Procurement / Sales & Services.
• Multi-sourcing Single Sourced items.
• Generate Cost Saving ideas to support business.
• Regularization of new localized components into Product database.

Job Specifications and Skills:

• Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of experience in Thermal Engineering - Mechanical.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Smartsheet & collaboration tools .

• Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and Suppliers.
