SCOPE OF WORK /JOB DESCRIPTION FOR STP and ETP OPERATORS.                                                                                                                                           The STP & ETP Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and continuous operation, monitoring, maintenance, and documentation of the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) to ensure treated water complies with statutory discharge/reuse standards and environmental regulations.

• Operate and monitor all STP and ETP equipment, including pumps, blowers, agitators, clarifies, filters, dosing systems, sludge handling equipment, and control panels.
• Start up and shut down plant equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure uninterrupted operation of treatment processes.
• Operation and monitoring of Ultra filtration System as per the requirement
• Monitoring and maintaining the quality of UF treated water as per the standard.
• Monitor process parameters such as pH, flow rate, ML SS, sludge blanket level, pressure, and chemical dosing.
• Adjust operating parameters to achieve optimum plant performance.
• Ensure treated water quality meets regulatory and company standards.
• Collect influent and effluent samples as per the monitoring schedule.
• Record results and report deviations immediately.Role & responsibilities
