About this role
We are looking for an experienced Telesys STP Engineer with strong hands-on experience in SS7 signaling, STP configuration, routing, GTT, and telecom core network integration.
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
- Hands-on experience in designing, installing, configuring and commissioning Telesys STP nodes.
- Strong knowledge of SS7, MTP 1/2/3, SCCP and TCAP.
- Experience configuring Point Codes, Linksets, Routes, GTT, A-links, B-links and C-links.
- Experience integrating STP with MSC, HLR, SMSC, IN and Signaling Gateways.
- Strong understanding of MAP signaling and Diameter/MAP-Diameter interworking.
- Knowledge of E.164, E.212, E.214, IMSI, MSISDN and GT-based routing.
- Experience in SS7 troubleshooting, signaling trace analysis and protocol-level debugging.
- Hands-on experience with Wireshark/tcpdump for signaling analysis.
- Exposure to 2G/3G/4G/5G telecom signaling architectures.
- Experience with KVM, VMware, Kubernetes/CNF and telecom cloud environments is an advantage.
- Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices is preferred.
Preferred Candidate: Candidates with strong hands-on Telesys STP + SS7 + GTT + signaling troubleshooting experience will be preferred.Role & responsibilities
