Store & Warehouse Manager

Job Description:

Job Summary

The Stores & Warehousing Manager will be responsible for managing overall stores, warehouse, and inventory operations, ensuring accurate stock records, proper material handling, warehouse security, SAP compliance, and timely reporting of inventory-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Stock Control

• Manage receipt, storage, and issue of Materials, Consumables, Spares, Finished Goods, and Fixed Assets.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP and physical registers.
• Ensure all material receipts and issues are recorded in SAP on a daily basis.
• Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels and highlight stock-outs and abnormal consumption.
• Track and report slow-moving and non-moving inventory and initiate liquidation/utilization actions.

Warehouse Operations

• Supervise material receiving, storage, handling, and preservation.
• Ensure materials are stored safely, properly palletized, and not placed directly on the floor.
• Ensure physical safety and proper organization of all warehouse materials.
• Coordinate safe inter-plant and inter-factory movement of materials.

Security & Compliance

• Ensure warehouses and stores are properly secured using approved locks, alarms, and biometric systems.
• Monitor CCTV systems and immediately report any malfunction or security breach.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SAP procedures, and inventory control requirements.
• Ensure stores remain closed after working hours unless authorized by management.

Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare monthly stock, slow-moving/non-moving inventory, and other required reports.
• Immediately report stock-outs, abnormal consumption, security breaches, or accidental damage.
• Support the PPC Manager with stock control and material planning.
• Assist Accounts with physical inventory verification and reconciliation.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong experience in Stores, Warehouse & Inventory Management.
• Good knowledge of SAP/ERP inventory systems.
• Experience in stock reconciliation and inventory control.
• Understanding of material handling, storage, and warehouse security.
• Strong reporting, coordination, and analytical skills.
