Store Manager

Role & responsibilities :

• Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
• Supervise daily storehouse operations, including the handling, labelling, and organization of materials.
• Ensure proper storage conditions to maintain the quality and safety of materials.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
• Lead, train, and develop storehouse staff.
• Identify and implement improvements in inventory management.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for storehouse operations.
• Utilize technology and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and stock movements.
• Prepare and present reports on inventory status, turnover, and discrepancies.
• Analyze inventory data to forecast future needs and adjust ordering processes accordingly.
• Ensure that materials received meet quality standards and specifications.
• Address and resolve issues related to damaged or defective goods.
• Implement quality control procedures for materials handling and storage.
