Store Manager

Position: Store Manager
Department: Retail Operations
Reporting To: Area Business Manager (ABM) / Regional Manager
Location: Store Location

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Performance

• Drive store sales and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
• Monitor key business metrics such as SPD, conversion, ATV, UPT, and productivity.
• Plan and execute local store marketing activities to increase footfall and sales.
• Identify opportunities to maximize revenue and profitability.

2. Team Management

• Lead, coach, and motivate store staff to achieve business goals.
• Conduct regular team briefings and performance reviews.
• Ensure adequate manpower planning, roster management, and attendance monitoring.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of employees.

3. Customer Experience

• Ensure exceptional customer service standards at all times.
• Resolve customer complaints and escalations promptly.
• Drive customer engagement and loyalty initiatives.

4. Store Operations

• Ensure compliance with SOPs, company policies, and operational guidelines.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and store appearance.
• Ensure proper stock management, inventory accuracy, and shrinkage control.
• Coordinate with support functions for smooth store operations.

5. Compliance & Audit

• Ensure adherence to statutory, safety, and company compliance requirements.
• Maintain store records, documentation, and audit readiness.
• Ensure cash handling and billing processes are followed accurately.

6. Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly business reports.
• Analyze store performance and implement corrective action plans.
• Track competition activities and market trends.

Eligibility Criteria

• Graduate in any discipline (Post Graduation preferred).
• 3-8 years of retail sales and store operations experience.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a Store Manager role preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and retail reporting.
